Milorad will be sadly missed by all of his relatives, kumovi and dear friends both here and in Serbia and Croatia. Milorad, a WWII veteran, was a pillar in the Serbian community, volunteering and leading numerous groups that supported both Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Church and the Serbian community at large. He was still honourary president of the Serbian Shield Society. He retired as a manager of the N&D Eastown Supermarket. He also built the Pleasant Valley Golf Course (now Willow Creek).

The family would like to thank Dr. Harshad Joshi, for his many home visits over the years; Jenny, his personal support worker for all of her wonderful care; and the Palliative Care Team of C.C.A.C. for their support and guidance over the last few days. Donations to Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Church or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
