About Us
- Opanak was established in 1993
- Our members range in age from 14 – 23
- We are led by 3 volunteer dance instructors
- We perform traditional song and dance at public and private events
- We have traveled throughout Ontario, Quebec, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, New York, Florida, California, Hawaii and Australia!
- We host Folklore Festivals for groups visiting Windsor
Our Passion
- To provide an opportunity for the Serbian youth of Windsor an to express their folklore and musical talents to the fullest
- To promote and share Serbian heritage while performing and traveling as Windsor Serbs
- To form lifelong friendships through group experiences and opportunities
